We’re thrilled to invite you to the Eastern Meadows Open at the scenic Eastern Meadows Disc Golf Course in Östra Ryd, Sweden!


Set amongst the beautiful fields and flowing fairways near Norrköping and Söderköping, Eastern Meadows offers a top-class, challenging 18-hole layout that’s perfect for competition and every level of player.

Registration

  • Registration and scoring is done through Tjing.
  • Registration fee PRO 1600 SEK and AM 800 SEK, additional services charges to Tjing and Stripe on 6.4% is added on top the registration fee.
  • Additional optional costs are available such as extra merchandise etc.

player value

  • Pro divisions will enjoy added cash to the pro purse.
  • This year we’re trying out a different approach, no more “True Amateur Events“. Amateur divisions will now be able to battle for great prizes and still get a great player pack.
  • All divisions will enjoy complimentary snacks, fruits, beverages and coffee

Eastern Meadows Disc Golf Course is easily reachable by car from the surrounding Östergötland region. Located a short drive from Söderköping and Norrköping, the course is accessed via major roads such as the E22, followed by smaller local roads. While the final stretch can be a bit tricky, clear signage and GPS navigation will guide you safely to the course. Once on site, everything is conveniently laid out for players and visitors.

Parking

There is a spacious parking area close to the course, available free of charge for all participants.

Airbnb & Self-Catering Stays

Östra Ryd and the surrounding countryside have a variety of Airbnb-style cottages, guest houses, and stugor — perfect if you’re traveling with a group or want a cozy, independent stay. Options range from rustic countryside cottages to modern apartments with kitchen facilities. Prices and amenities vary, but many properties start at budget-friendly levels and include free parking.

Hotels & B&Bs in Nearby Towns

Söderköping (≈15–20 min drive from Eastern Meadows)
A great base with several hotels and B&Bs close to local restaurants and the Göta Canal, such as:

    • Söderköpings Brunn – charming historic hotel with spa and dining options close to town center.

    • Husby Säteri – country-style manor with garden and terrace, ideal for a relaxing stay after tournament rounds.

There are also plenty of smaller guesthouses and cottage options throughout the Söderköping area if you want something more personal or scenic.

Larger Town Option: Norrköping (≈30–40 min drive)

If you don’t mind a slightly longer drive, Norrköping offers more hotel and Airbnb options plus urban conveniences:

  • Modern apartments and guesthouses via Airbnb around Östra Eneby/Norrköping, often with great views and close to dining/shopping.

  • Good choice for evening entertainment or if you’re staying multiple nights.
