Welcome to the most exciting
event of the season – Wermland Open!
We got the chance to use large areas of Skutberget to create a layout that will challenge the top pros! This is a one time opportunity to experience a pro course in our home town Karlstad!
Registration
- Registration and scoring is done through Tjing.
- Registration fee PRO 1500 SEK and AM 800 SEK, additional services charges to Tjing and Stripe on 6.4% is added on top the registration fee.
- Additional optional costs are available such as extra merchandise etc.

- Amateur divisions will enjoy a Player Pack 100-150% value of your registration fee!
- All divisions will enjoy complimentary snacks, fruits, beverages and coffee.

Skutberget, located approximately 7 kilometers west of central Karlstad, is a scenic outdoor area on the shores of Lake Vänern. It’s a popular destination for both locals and visitors, offering a variety of recreational activities.
Disc Golf at Skutberget
The Skutberget Disc Golf Course features 18 holes with two main layouts:Tjing
Red Tee (Long Course): Approximately 1,800 meters with a par of 57.
Yellow Tee (Short Course): Approximately 1,400 meters with a par of 54.Tjing

Swimming: Sandy beaches and rocky shores suitable for all ages.
Hiking and Jogging: Trails of varying lengths, including a 22-kilometer trail towards Kil.

Camping: First Camp Skutberget provides accommodations ranging from tent sites to cabins.
Getting There
By Car: Approximately a 10-minute drive from central Karlstad.
By Bus: Värmlandstrafik runs from Karlstad to Skutberget Camping.
Skutberget’s combination of natural beauty and recreational facilities makes it an ideal location for events like the Swedish Disc Golf Pro Tour.

Layouts
Together with Karlstads FSK and Karlstads Kommun, a temporary Top Pro level course will be installed just for this SDGPT event! Expect bomber driver along pretty grass fairways mixed with tight wooded gaps. You don’t want to miss experiencing this layout!
